How our pipe wrap barrier works
Trees and shrubs suck up large amounts of water from the soil. When the soil becomes dry, equalising pressure is created which causes moisture to move to nearby dryer soil (a process known as matric suction). The lever action of roots can easily crack or disconnect underground pipes, which can be dangerous and expensive to repair.
By encapsulating the underground tanks with our Root Barrier you can control the moisture of the surrounding soil and prevent root ingress and prevent it moving.
By insulating underground pipes with our pipe wrap barrier, you can control the moisture of the surrounding soil and stop it from cracking and invasion by moisture seeking roots growth.
